It’s incredible how mobile phones have become such an integral part of our lives. Every day we use our mobile phones in a way that they have become a normal routine part of life. Whether it be to make a call, send a text or surf the web we have now become somewhat dependent on our mobile phones.
For some, a mobile phone is a form of connecting with the outside world a survival tool and a sense of security, without which we could not and would not leave home. It has brought convenience into our lives but also the mobile phone has brought a false sense of security and in some aspect become an addiction.
As communication has evolved so has the development of the mobile phone industry. There are so many handsets to choose from with some many amazing features that the market has become flooded with regular updated models with innovative functions. The competition is harsh but despite all the rage for the latest gadget we should pause for thought and ask ourselves something which has always been pushed to the side: can mobile phones be harmful?
Although many prefer to turn a blind eye to any potential dangers of mobile phone use, scientist have indeed provided data which proves that too much use can be harmful to our health. Since mobile phones emit radiation our brains are exposed to this each time we put a handset to our head. The risk maybe not be a particularly high one but all the same we should minimize usage in order to prevent any form of harm.
Another dangerous factor connected with mobile phone is their use whilst driving. Many a fatal accident has been caused by someone talking on the phone while driving. It is now an offense to use a mobile phone when driving.
